A few years ago, I built C.W. Blackjack. I wanted to build blackjack software that emulated the realistic experience at a casino. There is what I call Career Mode and Custom Mode. Career mode entails the player being a gambler that relies on luck and or math to rise to the top of the leader board. The custom mode allows players to create custom blackjack tables for gameplay with any rules of their choosing, including deck penetration, late surrender, number of decks and more.

The game offers multiple methods to hone your skills in blackjack. In the game location called "Home", i.e. the player's home. Players can find a deck of cards on a table. Once it is selected a dialog appears, allowing the player to select a card counting system and speed at which cards will be revealed to the player. This mode allows the player to recognize the cards revealed to him to count cards and be quizzed at the end of the sequence.

Card counting systems utilized by C.W. Blackjack are Hi-Lo, Omega II, Red Sevens, Knockout, and Wong Halves.

Since my blackjack software does not shuffle the cards after every hand. Counting and applying strategy deviations per the count is possible. This is applicable on career mode and custom mode.

Custom mode is what the game calls "Clubs". Clubs allows the player to set the starting cash and bet ranges to any number desired. Other than just choosing the rules, periodic checks by the dealer can be performed if wanted to determine if the players at the table know the count. Each player guesses before the count is revealed. The guesses of each player in addition to the actual count known by the software are logged to the chat window. You'll have a minimum of 12 seconds to answer the prompt.

Discard Tray

The discard tray or discard area is available to all users for free on either mode. This is very useful for AP players to have in order to calculate true count for bets and action deviations. The discard area can be magnified by pressing left click on the area. Standard playing cards were used for all photos. Any discard tray images used a 6 deck discard tray. There is an image to represent empty, a single card (the burn card), then every 6-7 additional cards dispelled from the shoe.
